Terms of reference

1. Reviews plan, monitors, evaluates and reports on the progress
2. Construction and repair of Mayor and City Council roads bridges, buildings, park
3. Inspection of building owned by taxpayers.
4. Reviews and reports on the status and development of street lighting; the development and maintenance of building owned or controlled by the Mayor and City Council; construction of new building by the Mayor City Council.
5. Consider, advise and approves the:
6. Sub-Division of Lots
7. Application for building plans within the areas controlled by the Mayor and City Council
8. Maintenance of the drainage system of Greater Georgetown
9. Monitors, evaluates and makes recommendations on approved use and rental of equipment, machinery and vehicles assigned to Plan Maintenance and Hire Section.
10. Monitors work progress of various city works with particular reference to overtime hours worked and related expenditure.
11. Generally to visit sites to verify work progress from time to time.
